The temperature drops, then you start to turn on the oven … Here are the brownies cocoa and barley with a heart cherry liqueur! I admit that we used the barley soluble because was missing cocoa powder… but we really wanted the chocolate brownies… 🙂 so we compensated with barley! … and I must say that the result is truly delicious. Barley has caramelized with the brown sugar, creating a delicious crust, and mixed with cocoa powder has taken a slight hint of coffee. They were really a surprise and so here’s the recipe!
Ingredients (12 portions):
- 150 g of butter
- 200 g Cane Sugar
- 1 pinch of salt
- Grated lemon peel
- 2 eggs Cold
- 30 g Cocoa powder
- 30 g of Soluble barley
- 12 pitted cherries under spirit
- 12 Pirottini
Drain and rattling off cherries. Preheat the oven to 180 ° C.
Melt butter in a bain marie, cocoa, barley and zucchero.Sciolto butter and most of the sugar let cool a little.
Now add the eggs one by one, once well mixed, add the pinch of salt and then the sifted flour.
Put a spoonful of mixture in all 12 cups, place a cherry in the center of each, and cover with the remaining dough. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
