Chicken Karaage 鷄の唐揚げ 作り方レシピ

Chicken Karaage 鷄の唐揚げ 作り方レシピ copia

Today I propose an original recipe of Japanese cuisine! Chicken Karaage! They’re basically fried chicken nuggets, but have the characteristic of being light and little greasy, are super tasty and crisp, but especially easy and quick to do. When we had them prepared a sauce sour spicy but I assure you that no further seasonings 😉

INGREDIENTS FOR 2 PEOPLE:
300 g Chicken bites (taken from the spindles)
1/2 teaspoon Soy Sauce
1/2 tablespoon of Sake
1/4 teaspoon Salt
Pepper
1 teaspoon grated Ginger
1 teaspoon grated Garlic
1/2 teaspoon of Sesame Oil
1/2 beaten Egg
2 and a half tablespoons of Potato Starch or Cornstarch
Lettuce leaves (pictured lettuce Brazilian)
Sunflower oil
Lime slices

Bone the chicken drumsticks, or let it do the butcher. Place the meat on a cutting board with the skin upwards, and make holes with a knife, this will help make it easier to penetrate the dressing and cooking. Now turn it, remove any excess grease and repeat the process as before, then do some more cut. Cut the chicken nuggets are not too small, and put them in a bowl. Add chicken to the soybean, Sake, pepper, salt, garlic and grated ginger and mix well (I do it with your hands, but if you prefer to use a glove or a spoon).
Let stand covered for 30 minutes so that the chicken absorb the seasoning.
Well, now we begin to add the beaten egg a little at a time and while we mix, and finally add the starch and give a final blended.

Put the oil on medium heat (do not need so much a finger and a half already enough), while heating the oil, add the chicken already, this will ensure even cooking inside and out! 😉 When the chicken begins to sizzle, turn the pieces, let them in again for a few minutes and then remove them from the pan. Increase the heat and heat the oil well. When hot put them back in and let them until they are beautiful golden  !!! Drain on the cards for fried or paper towel, then place them on a nice bed of the salt and serve while still hot!
Already seasoned and savory do not need to say more …. I had them when I tried to make a sauce sour-spicy but I assure you that they are delicious even without! Despite being fried they are not heavy nor greasy! One leads to another!
Itadakimasu !!!
